Drift-Free Hall Effect Joysticks
Anyone who plays enough has felt it: sticks that slowly drift and stop feeling right. We didn’t want that in N6. It uses Hall effect joysticks, reading movement magnetically so there’s no physical wear and no drift over time. We also increased the stick angle to 23° (vs 18° on Joy-Con), recreating a full-size controller feel in handheld play. Larger sticks and an anti-wear metal ring keep control precise, consistent, and ready for upcoming titles on Switch™ 2.
Audio Tuned for Real Play
Handheld audio usually fires downward, losing clarity and impact. We changed that. When the console is inserted into N6, the speaker output faces forward, sending sound directly toward you. Inside, the structure forms a small resonance chamber that naturally reinforces the audio, similar to how an instrument body amplifies sound. This adds depth and about 10% stronger bass, making voices clearer, effects punchier, and games more immersive without extra power or bulk.

Smart Layout and Button Feel
Button feel shapes how a controller plays. N6 uses conductive rubber ABXY buttons and D-pad for a familiar, comfortable press that works well for long, everyday sessions. For faster reactions, the shoulder buttons use tactile switches, delivering a quicker, more defined response in action-heavy games. This pairs with N6’s smart offset layout, positioning sticks and buttons to match natural hand posture. The result is less strain, better reach, and control that feels intuitive and relaxed, even as sessions run long.
Mapping, Macros & Turbo—Your Way
Everyone plays a little differently, so N6 gives you the freedom to adjust without changing how it feels in your hands. Rear and front buttons support custom mapping and macros, letting you move key actions to spots that feel more natural for you.Turbo adds another layer of control, making repeated inputs faster and easier when timing matters. Together, these features help reduce extra finger movement, keep your grip steady, and let the controller adapt to your playstyle.
Native 9-Axis Motion and Vibration
N6 uses native 9-axis motion control compatible with Nintendo® Switch™ 2, so gyro input feels natural and responsive from the first move. Motion is read directly from the controller, without delay or artificial smoothing.We paired that precision with adjustable vibration, so feedback stays clear without overpowering your control. Dual linear motors deliver adjustable vibration at 0%, 40%, 70%, or 100%, so impacts and movement feel clear without becoming distracting. Small wrist movements stay precise, motions stay steady.
Wired Connection. Play While Charging
When you sit down to play, you want everything to feel solid and predictable. N6 connects through a wired USB-C connection, giving you a stable, no latency link where inputs register instantly.The open charging port means you can play while charging your Switch™ 2 without changing your setup.
